Our pieces are carefully sourced from trusted makers in India and Turkey many of whom create exclusive designs just for us. We collaborate with partners who value craftsmanship, tradition, and character. While we don’t make each item ourselves, we hand-select every piece with intention, beauty, and soul in mind. No mass production, just unique stories told in gold-toned beauty.

Yes and you can feel it. Every item is touched by human hands, not machines. That means small irregularities in shape or color aren’t flaws; they're part of the charm. Think of them as the fingerprint of the maker.
Yes. We use genuine freshwater pearls, each one naturally shaped by time and tide. No two are the same, and that’s exactly the point.
At Happy Lona, we work with a curated mix of materials chosen for their beauty, meaning, and integrity. Our core material is brass — a golden-hued alloy of copper and zinc — known for its strength, natural warmth, and energetic properties. Many of our signature shapes are made using the lost wax casting technique, allowing us to create fluid, organic forms you won’t find in mass production.

Most of our brass pieces are gilded with a layer of 22-karat gold. Over time, this golden layer may soften with wear, revealing the warm brass beneath — still gold in tone, still full of life.

Brass is nickel-free, recyclable, and full of character. While not hypoallergenic, it’s generally well-tolerated. If your skin is acidic or sensitive, a slight reaction may occur — a natural, harmless effect that can be minimized with care.

We also work with a vibrant palette of natural and lab-created stones:
– Natural semi-precious gems like moonstone, rosequartz, and labradorite
– Treated stones, heat-enhanced or dyed to deepen their beauty
– Lab-created gems, such as cat’s eye glass and pure synthetic crystals

Our lab-created stones are an ethical and sustainable alternative to mined gems, with the same brilliance and durability — and often even more clarity and vividness. They reflect our belief that responsibility and radiance can go hand in hand.

Lastly, our beaded designs feature hand-strung and embroidered glass beads — radiant, symbolic, and rich with artisan heritage. Each one is a tiny story told in color.

At Happy Lona, we don’t just choose materials. We choose messages, energies, and meaning — and we shape them into something you can wear close to your skin.
Brass is nickel-free and generally well-tolerated. However, in rare cases, those with ultra-sensitive skin may experience a mild reaction due to the natural copper content. If your skin reacts easily, consider wearing your piece intermittently at first.
Not at all. This is a harmless reaction that can happen when brass interacts with moisture or the pH of your skin — especially on warm days or with sweat. It’s temporary, and doesn’t mean your ring is of lower quality. In fact, it’s a natural trait of this beautiful, raw material. Pro tip: A little clear nail polish on the inside of your ring can act as a barrier if you're concerned.
To keep your piece glowing:
– Avoid water, perfume, lotion, and chemicals
– Remove before sleeping, showering, or swimming
– Store in a dry, shaded place, preferably in its pouch or a jewelry box
– Polish gently with a soft cloth now and then
Of course. You have 14 days to return your unworn item in its original packaging. Sale items or customized pieces are non-returnable. If you need help we're one email away. Do you ship internationally? Yes! We ship worldwide from our studio in the Netherlands. Shipping time and cost depend on your location and will be shown at checkout.
We’re not chasing trends we’re building a world. Every piece we offer carries the spirit of travel, artistry, and self-expression. Happy Lona is for those who collect moments, not mass-made things.
